A suspect in a drug bust in Inverness Co. has had her charges dismissed.
Rachel Phillips, 46, of We’koqma’q originally faced charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and cultivation of marijuana.
Phillips, who entered not guilty pleas in August, was scheduled to stand trial in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Wednesday; the Crown didn’t call evidence and the case was dismissed.
RCMP say officers seized marijuana, oxycodone tablets, drug paraphernalia and cash when they searched a We’koqma’q home in Feb. 2016.
