Four Cape Breton West Islanders were drafted into the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
The draft held in Shawinigan on Saturday saw Chase Ellis selected 50th overall in the 3rd round by Drummondville.
His cousin Matthew Ellis was selected 110th overall in the 7th round by Rimouski.
He’ll join his brother Colten who had an outstanding first season in net for the Oceanic.
Their team-mate, Calum MacPherson will join the Ellis brothers in Rimouski.
MacPherson who finished 3rd in the Major Midget point race last season with 52 was chosen 177th overall..
Dell Welton is heading to Charlottetown…he was 190th.
