One of the four people charged in relation to a fight at a local high school has entered a pair of guilty pleas in the case.
SAERC officials say an incident involving four students and a parent took place at the school in May.
RCMP charged four people in total- April Jamieson, 38, Cailey Jamieson, 18, and two other young people who can’t be identified because of their ages.
Another woman was served notice to stay away from the school.
April Jamieson, who has been charged with two counts of assault, entered a not guilty plea in September; she was expected for trial in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Wednesday.
Instead, she pleaded guilty to causing a disturbance by fighting and a single count of assault; she’s scheduled for sentencing May 6.
Cailey Jamieson, who pleaded not guilty in October, is scheduled to stand trial March 7.
One of the two young people who can’t be identified because of their ages charged with assault was referred to Restorative Justice in October, and is expected for a status hearing Monday; the other youth, who has been charged with causing a disturbance by fighting and had her case sent to Restorative Justice in October, is scheduled for a status update April 29.
