With the Friends, Central Perk Lego set being made available to the public for the price of $89.99 on the Lego store, and it has me thinking, what are some of the top pop cultures Lego sets out there?
I’m gonna tell you right now I’ve owned Lego in the past, but I was never a huge “Lego Kid” growing up. These are just the sets I think would resonate the most with me if I had to own them.
#5 Lego E.T
Of course, with that E.T reunion commercial happening, I have to talk about the E.T Lego Set.
This set is awesome. Not only do you get E.T and Elliot, but you also get the house, and it’s one of the more simple Lego sets on this list standing at only 575 pieces.
It’s a great way to get your kids introduced to the 1982 Steven Speilberg film, and it deserves the #5 spot.
#4 LEGO Back to the Future DeLorean
Let’s take it back to the ’80s again with the Back to The Future Delorian!
This set is incredible because it’s the Delorian. Now I may be a bit biased due to the fact I love Back to The Future, but this is a piece for any pop culture/Lego Fan.
If you want to purchase the set, you can, but it’s going to run you quite a hefty price tag of $289 on Amazon.
#3 LEGO Lord of the Rings: Tower of Orthanc
At #3 is the LEGO Lord of the Rings Tower of Orthanc Building Set!
Now even if you haven’t watched Lord of the Rings, you can’t deny the Pop Culture Significance of the movies!
This Lego set stands at nearly 2,400 pieces! I would quickly be handing this one off to someone to build for me, but it would be awesome to have!
This set will run you a pretty big price tag as well on Amazon of $439.99.
#2 LEGO Star Wars Death Star
It’s the Death Star! Do I need to say more?
The Death Star has to be one of the coolest Lego Sets out there from one of the best movies!
This set comes complete with the Death Star plus 25 Minifigures, including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2, to name a few.
The Death Star is on Amazon as well for the price of $679.99
.
#1 Lego Friends Central Perk Set.
Yes, I know it’s a cop-out, and I don’t care!
I bet no one told the Friends cast that the show would get so big that it would become a Lego set!
The set includes all the figurines and everything to do with the Central Perk!
You can buy the set on the Lego Store for $89.99; however, at this moment, the Lego set is temporarily out of stock!
