A new president has appointed at StFX.
Andrew Hakin officially steps into the role July 1.
He comes to StFX from the University of Lethbridge, where he served as provost and vice-president (academic) since 2007.
Hakin replaces Kent MacDonald, who stepped down in July 2019; he had been the university’s president since 2014.
Kevin Wamsley will continue serving as StFX’s interim president until Hakin’s arrival.
