A local history documentary has received funding from the province.
In a release, Nova Scotia Business Inc. announced “Isle Madame” was one of three projects receiving money.
Production company Tell Tale Media has received $147,870 to spend in province on the film.
The documentary will highlight the history of the island by the same name in Richmond Co.
The project’s budget sets aside $477,000 to be spent in the province; at this time, it’s not clear how much money, if any, will be spent in Richmond Co.
