Classes at StFX have been put on hold.
The President of StFX says classes will not take place from Monday to Friday this week.
Kevin Wamsley says this time is necessary to assess how programs will be delivered through to the end of the term.
Wamsley says the campus is not closing and the academic term is not cancelled.
He says classes will resume on Monday, March 23rd using online or other delivery methods.
Wamsley says faculty can continue to work from their offices.
Students living in residence are encouraged to move home if they are able to do so.
Dalhousie University, King’s College, Mount Saint Vincent University and Saint Mary’s University have also moved classes online.
