Yesterday, the Exhibition Association of Nova Scotia announced that all exhibitions across the province will be cancelled for 2020.
Last week, we were told that the 3rd Annual Murphy’s Pond Music Festival in Port Hood will be postponed until 2021
Theatre Baddeck and Festival Antigonish have both decided to not move forward with their 2020 season of performances.
At the end of April, the decision to cancel the 64th Annual Broad Cove Scottish Concert was announced.
The 2021 concert will take place on Sunday, July 25
The 26th annual Granville Green concert series will not be a Sunday Night tradition this summer. News of the cancellation came late April.
The 25th year celebrations for StanFest will be held off until 2021
The Antigonish Highland Games have been called off. This cancellation marks only the second time in the 157 year history of the games. The other time was during World War 1.
Port Hawkesbury’s summer festival, Festival of the Strait, has canceled the event for this year.
The Port Hawkesbury Ceilidhs have called off most of their 25th season. Ceilidhs scheduled for July and August are cancelled. They are considering a trimmed down Ceilidh series or one monthly beginning in September.
Not exactly a cancellation, but the Celtic Colours International Festival has decided to move the festival online for 2020.
New Glasgow Riverfront Music Jubilee announced on May 25 that they are cancelling the event for this summer.
