RCMP say they obtained a warrant for the arrest of Desmond Bernard.
Police say Bernard is charged with several offences in Victoria Co.
They say the 25-year-old is charged with eight counts of failing to comply, two counts of resisting arrest, two counts of assaulting police, two counts of assault, two counts of mischief, uttering threats, unlawfully in a house and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
RCMP say the charges are related to an assault that began on December 27th in Wagmatcook.
Efforts by police to locate Bernard have not been successful.
Bernard is described as indigenous, 6-foot-2, 240 pounds with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Police say he may be in the Sydney area.
