We are heading into the weekend and there’s no better time to dive into a great movie marathon than to start on a Friday.
To help you plan for an upcoming movie marathon you might have I’ll be reviewing how long it’ll take you to actually achieve this binging extravaganza.
Indiana Jones: 8 hours and 2 Minutes.
Let’s start with a shorter movie marathon Indiana Jones these 4 movies will run you just over 8 hours of screen time with zero breaks. Those 8 hours will be action-packed and will be well worth the time.
Harry Potter: 21 Hours and 51 Minutes
In the Harry Potter series, there are eight movies in Harry Potter but we’re also including “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. This modest amount of movies will run you just short of 22 hours perfect for a Friday into most of Saturday type of movie marathon. One note I will make in all of these times don’t include breaks, so plan accordingly.
Rocky + Creed: 13 hours and 15 minutes.
This right here has to be one of my favourite movie marathons Rocky and Creed all together will be over 13 hours in runtime. Full of action full of drama and full of boxing! You won’t regret this watch.
X-Men: 16 Hours and 27 Minutes
Eight movies in total and almost sixteen and a half hours in total and a ton of Wolverine that is what X-men will bring you. For all those superhero fans highly recommend.
Lord of the Rings Trilogy plus The Hobbit Trilogy: 19 Hours and 39 Minutes.
You can’t have one without the other the Lord of the Rings and the hobbit clocks in at close to 20 hours. This is one that I’ve never actually watched all of them but I know a ton of people who love both sets of trilogies.
Star Wars: 25 hours
If you have just over a day and Disney+ this one can be completed easily. I have watched every Star Wars movie going but never a marathon this is something I think I will try in the future.
James Bond: 52 Hours and 56 Minutes.
If you have over two days of time then you’ll have to try this one out all 25 James bond movies! Dating back from 1962 till 2015 you’ll be going through all the decades with this set of movies.
If your favourite set of movies didn’t make my list you can check out the times at this neat little website called here. Hope you enjoyed and hope this helps for your next movie marathon.
