The Novas (11-11-2), who lost both their weekend games, are sixth in the 12-team league with 24 points, a point behind the South Shore for fifth, and a point ahead of the Valley and Dartmouth, the two teams tied for seventh.
The teams split the first two games in their three-game season series, both of which were decided by one goal.
