The Green Party in Nova Scotia is upset they weren’t invited to participate in Wednesday nights leaders debate.
CBC is hosting the first forum of the campaign which will include the leaders of the Liberals, PC’s and NDP.
The interim leader for the Greens Jessica Alexander says the exclusion of her party along with the Atlantica party shows the tyranny of the majority and the very reason minority voices are not heard.
The Green party is running more candidates this year than they did in 2017.
“We have Candidates nominated in at least 75 percent of ridings.” said Green Party Campaign Manager Matthew Piggott. “Nova Scotians are entitled to know where we stand on the issues”.
The party plans to hold a rally outside of the CBC building on Mumford Road in Halifax while the debate is taking place.
The debate start at 6 p.m.
