Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia and Friends of Agriculture Nova Scotia are planning an event they call ‘Spring Flavours’, which will see a variety of local farmers, bakers, breweries, and more coming together next month.
The event will be held at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre on April 10, tickets are $50 each and can be used for either the afternoon or evening time slots.
Executive Director of Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia, Justin Cantafio, says you can find out more info and how to buy tickets on their Instagram and Facebook.
“There’s a website there where you can click to buy those tickets for the location of your choice.” He said.
Cantafio added, it’s a way to celebrate local farmers and businesses while also getting people out and about.
“We wanted to sort of ring in this post Monday March 21st era in a celebratory and community and food focused way to help folks get out of their shells and come out and be together again.”
The event will also run on April 24 in New Minas and May 1 in Halifax.
