An email was sent to parents of Tamarac Education Centre yesterday saying a possible threat to the school was made on Instagram.
Principal Rick Welton said in the email that the RCMP were immediately notified and determined there was no risk to students or staff.
They say the incident is under investigation by school administration.
If students would like to discuss the matter, they are encouraged to speak with the school counsellor and, or school administration.
