The Granville Green concert series is back in a very big way this summer in Port Hawkesbury.
The full line-up has been released with Classified and The Stanfields set to play the green as the headliners.
Hitting the Green on a Sunday night is a signature summer event in the Quad Counties.
“It’s incredible to see such excitement for the return of Granville Green, and the level of community investment from industry and local business. Special thanks to our presenting sponsors Bear Head Energy and EverWind “ said Brenda Chisholm-Beaton, Mayor of the Town of Port Hawkesbury.
The Granville Green Concert Series line up for this summer is as follows:
Sunday, July 3: Tyler Shaw with special guest Inn Echo
Sunday, July 10: The Stanfields with special guests Andre Pettipas and the Giants
Sunday, July 17: Barn Bhreagh with special guest Steve MacIntyre
Sunday, July 24: Jeremie Albino with special guest Jon Hines

Each concert begins at 7 p.m. and if it rains or bad weather is in the forecast, the concert will move into the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre
Michelle Farrow, Director of Recreation, Marketing, Tourism and Culture for the Town of Port Hawkesbury notes “This year, we renamed the series “Granville Green-Resurgence”. After not hosting the series for a couple of years, we wanted a huge focus on community. We wanted the series to focus on sharing stories, creating lasting partnerships and friendships, fostering volunteerism.
This year’s artwork features Indigenous artist Marcus Gosse and the two crows image represents friendship, joy, community, strength, and love for the land.”
