The Pictou County District RCMP is investigating two suspicious fires.
On July 22nd at around 1:40AM Pictou County District RCMP and fire responded to a report of a fire at an old bridge in St Pauls. The officers learned that the fire had already gone out prior to the arrival of the firefighters.
On the morning of July 25th another fire brook out at a bridge on a trail in Lyons Brook and the fires crews were able to contain the blaze. Both bridges were made of wood and the one in Lyons Brook was destroyed.
