Premier Tim Houston is set to deliver a State of the Province address in Sydney on January 27th.
The luncheon event is being hosted by various organizations based in Cape Breton Island including the Strait Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber president Misty MacDonald says there are many issues important to their members that will be discussed, and they look forward to hearing from the premier on what the province has planned to further support the community.
Cape Breton University is co-hosting the event and CBU President and Vice Chancellor David Dingwall says they also look forward to having the premier and his team on Cape Breton Island to hear his governments priorities for addressing the most imperative issues faced by local businesses.
