Nova Scotians and Islanders are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Stair Climb Challenge in Halifax on February 19th.
The Stair Heros Challenge is intended to bring awareness and raise funds for lung health in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Robert MacDonald, the President, and CEO of the Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island says COVID 19 has put a strain on lung health and money raised will allow them to continue delivering programs for people living with lung diseases.
Halifax Regional Fire Chief, Ken Stuebing says fire fighters know the importance of lung heath and they look forward to working with the Lung Association to host the event.
The event will take place at the Barrington Tower and up to 400 people will climb the stairs of the building.
The fundraising goal for this year is $200 from each participant.
