With the Barrington Lake wildfire under control, Natural Resources Minister Tory Rushton says they’re comfortable with the move.
However, the $25,000 fine remains for burning when not allowed.
He advises people to check the burn-safe map online.
Today, you’re not allowed to burn until after 7 p.m.
The provincewide burn ban and the remaining restrictions on travel and activities in the woods were lifted as of 3 p.m. today, June 13.

The provincewide burn ban, announced May 29, was on top of restrictions that have been in place since March 15.
