A celebration of life for the 14-year-old girl who passed away tragically during last month’s floods will e held this weekend.
In her obituary, Terri-Lynn Keddy’s family describe her as someone who saw the good in everything and always had a smile on her face. They say she loved music, rainbows, her favourite colours pink and purple, and her boyfriend.
Keddy passed away after the vehicle she was traveling was swept off the road by a storm surge on July 22. She is one of four people who died in the flooding caused by a historic amount of rain, along with a 52-year-old father and two six-year-old children.
The celebration of life will be this Saturday, August 12, at the Brooklyn Fire Hall. People are asked to wear the colours of the rainbow, or Keddy’s favourite colours to honour her memory.
