The Royal Canadian Mint will soon be circulating the new King’s image on our Canadian coins. This should start in early December. Here’s what the coin will look like.
Our version will be illustrated by Canadian portrait artist Steven Rosati who was chosen from hundreds of submissions.
We should start to see the coins in early December. You can still use the older coins that feature the late Queen of course. King Charles will also be featured on our $20 bill in the next few years.
