Included in the iOS 17 update is a feature called Name Drop that is on by default. It allows users to save contact information or share a photo when Apple devices come close together. Depending on the situation, this can be dangerous, especially for kids.
Below are instructions to turn the feature off. You can also set it to receiving off, contacts only or everyone for 10 minutes.
