Results from the province’s Healthcare Improvement Challenge are out.
A text notification system for a doctor’s appointment was the top idea chosen, to help reduce no-shows.
Over 8,700 people voted from December 20th to January 8th.
The top-10 list also asks for the option to get appointment letters by email instead of posted mail.
The list has now taken priority, and the province says they’ll work to implement them, if possible.
