You may remember that 10 year old Ellie Cluett from Port Hawkesbury starred in a Christmas movie called The Secret Gift of Christmas, filmed in Halifax, last year.
Her character was Phoebe Armstrong, the daughter of one of the main characters. You can read more about that here.
Ellie also had a part on the Paramount+ show called FROM.
ACTRA is the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists. Their awards gala is being held next month and Ellie has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actor for her role in The Secret Gift of Christmas.
