Russell Musgrave of Boularderie Centre in Cape Breton bought $200 worth of Atlantic Lottery Scratch’N Win tickets and won big!
One of those tickets was the $1.5-million top-prize on the new Super Set for Life ticket.
He sat down with his tickets as soon as he got home and the very first ticket he scratched was a top-prize winner worth $1.5 million.
“That ticket had to be the first ticket she (the cashier) took out of the package,” Musgrave said. “What are the chances of that?”
Musgrave plans to use his winnings to renovate his home, pay off his daughter’s mortgage and help out his loved ones.
He purchased his winning Super Set for Life ticket at Brewer’s Convenience in North Sydney, N.S. This is not the first winning Super Set for Life ticket sold by Brewer’s Convenience. Pat and Clint Lettice of Sydney Mines, N.S., who won the Super Set for Life top prize in April 2023, also purchased their ticket at the same retail location.
The retailer will receive a 1% cent seller’s prize.
