Ten, 50-foot catamarans from around the globe, raced around the harbour last month, reaching up to 100 km/h.
Sail Nova Scotia told our newsroom, the event was a huge success that brought tens of millions to our economy and up to 40,000 to the waterfront each day.
They say they are looking ahead to 2026 with confidence we can make the event bigger and better.
Meanwhile, Team Canada says the event not returning to Halifax is hard one to “grapple with” but are working hard to make sure they are on the start line when Season 5 gets underway, for a “stand out” home event in 2026.
