A major hockey tournament is coming to Nova Scotia next year.
Truro will host the World U17 Hockey Challenge from October 31st to November 8th, 2025.
Two Canadian teams will take part, along with teams from the U.S, Finland, Sweden and Czechia.
In a release, the Rath Eastlink Community Centre says the tournament is expected to pump up to $5 million into the local economy.
Volunteer registration will open in the coming weeks, over 150 volunteers will be needed.
