Drivers in Nova Scotia faced higher costs at the pump Friday morning as the Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board (NSUARB) announced an increase in fuel prices.
The price of gasoline rose by 3.3 cents per litre, bringing it to 166.2 cents per litre with the board’s weekly adjustment.
Diesel prices also saw a notable increase, marking the second hike this week. After invoking the interrupter clause on Wednesday to raise diesel prices by 6 cents, the NSUARB raised the minimum diesel price by an additional 4.1 cents, setting it at 197 cents per litre.
