Sad news out of Quebec with word of another police officer killed in the line of duty.
According to CTV, Sergeant Maureen Breau was fatally stabbed Monday night while carrying out an arrest in Louiseville, west of Trois Riviere.
She was with the force for over 20 years.
Halifax Police Chief Dan Kinsella offered condolences in a tweet this morning.
This comes after a regimental funeral in Edmonton for two police officers, Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan, who were killed by a 16-year-old while responding to a family violence call in an apartment building.
