Air travel is all fun and games until you get stuck in a long line at security and spend what feels like an eternity wondering if you’ll miss your flight. The Halifax Stanfield International Airport is rolling out a new program that will hopefully take some of that stress away from travellers.
It’s called the YHZ Express RESERVE Program, and it lets you book a time to go through security up to 48 hours in advance of your flight. No more showing up four hours early just to make sure you get through in time.
Reservations are now available for travel scheduled as early as Friday, August 25. Simply click this link and have your flight details ready along with the number of people traveling with you. Once you get to the airport, just head over to the YHX Express checkpoint at the security gate. You’ll have a QR code that will get you into your designated, pre-booked lane.
“”We’re thrilled to offer this new service for our travellers who want to plan and maximize their time at the airport prior to their flight,” said Joyce Carter, President & CEO, Halifax International Airport Authority in a press release.
The program is free to use and makes Halifax the 19th airport around the world who has partnered with CLEAR to deliver the service.
