A bronze for Team Canada at the Women’s U18 World Hockey Championship.
Canada fell to Czechia in the semifinal game Saturday, but rebounded to win bronze on Sunday, 8-1 over Finland.
2 Nova Scotians were on the team, Cape Sable Island’s Jessica MacKinnon and Antigonish’s Rhyah Stewart.
MacKinnon had an assist in the bronze game, and Stewart got the win in goal.
The tournament was held in Switzerland.
