A Salmon River man is facing sex charges involving minors.
Colchester County District RCMP say the historical sexual offences happened between the early 1990’s and 2000’s.
Victim Service and the Nova Scotia Department of Community Supports were also involved.
The 64-year-old was arrested and charged Thursday, with two counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference.
RCMP say he was known to be a leadership role with the vulnerable as well as young people through his employment and volunteer work.
The victims are not associated with those organizations.
Investigators, at this time, do not believe there are other victims, however victims are encouraged to contact local police or other resources in the community.
