A big movie premiere in the Halifax area.
The Trailer Park Boys star in Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties- the fourth theatrical release, for Sunnyvale’s finest.
Ricky, Julien, Randy and Bubbles took to the red-carpet Sunday night, at the Cineplex at Dartmouth Crossing for the first screening in Canada.
Amid a room full of invite-only guests, our newsroom got to speak with Bubbles himself.
“I feel fantastic”, he said, “very excited.”
Before the film played, the group addressed the crowd to thank everyone for coming and to pay homage to where it all began.

“I just want to thank everyone for coming”, said Rob Wells, ‘Ricky’. “We did a premier in London, England at Abbey Road studios, which is very cool, we weren’t worthy to be in there, I don’t think. Then we did one in Los Angeles, California…also pretty cool.”
“But this, this is the premier we were all looking forward to, in our hometown.”
Rob Wells and Jean Paul Trembley, ‘Julien’, and Mike Smith are all from Nova Scotia.
The film sees Bubbles and his band make a trip out of the park, all the way to Abbey Road studios in London.
It will be released Canada-wide, December 6.
