Canadians are heading to the polls for a Federal Election on April 28. This could make Mark Carney the shortest serving Prime Minister in Canadian history.
Previously, Sir Charles Tupper, our 6th PM, was Prime Minister for 69 days in 1896.
Tupper was also the Premier of Nova Scotia from 1864 until 1867 and a Member of Parliament for Cape Breton from 1896 until 1900.
