Water is extremely low for customers in Port Hood.
Inverness County officials tell The Hawk the issue is due to the water level in the reservoir tank being significantly impacted by a number of factors.
Port Hood water customers are highly encouraged to limit their usage and conserve water until further notice to assist in regaining water levels in the reservoir.
Officials say this is crucial so that the Port Hood and District Volunteer Fire Department has access to a water supply in the case of an emergency.
There’s no word on how long it will take to regain water levels in the reservoir.
