Some positive news on the COVID-19 front.
For the first time since March 15, the province is announcing no new cases of COVID-19.
Nova Scotia remains at 1,055 confirmed cases.
Nearly 41,000 people have been tested, while 978 are considered recovered.
The province has recorded 59 deaths.
Northwood long-term care home in Halifax continues to battle the virus, with active cases in 10 residents and four staff.
Premier Stephen McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang will detail further steps toward opening the province’s economy at 3:00 on Friday.
