A massive white spruce from Cape Breton will light up the night sky over Boston this year.
This year, Nova Scotia’s annual Christmas tree donation comes from L’arche Cape Breton’s property in Orangedale, Inverness County.
L’arche is a non-profit organization which offers a supportive home and work for people with disabilities.
The 60-year-old tree measures up at 48 feet tall.
The tree is an annual expression of gratitude for the help Boston sent to Nova Scotia during the Halifax explosion in 1917.
