As protests are being staged across the country, a convoy consisting of people from around the province made the journey to Halifax.

Halifax Constable John MacLeod advised against unnecessary travel Saturday in the city, and issued a warning against any unlawful activities.
“We want to let you know that if you are going to be found in violations of, whether it’s the health protection act, the emergency measures act, or other violations of the criminal code or the motor vehicle act,” he says. “We will take enforcement as necessary.”
Members of the convoy began the journey from all corners of the province on Saturday morning with planned routes from Yarmouth, the Annapolis valley, and the Canso Causeway.
Rallies are being held to put pressure on governments to lift all COVID restrictions and vaccine mandates.
Most provinces are already moving to ease any measures to limit the spread of the virus.
