FREE CCA Certification Course

Become a Continuing Care Assistant Futureworx is offering a CCA study and earn program in Inverness County.

This program is of interest to those individuals who are seeking a rewarding career in the health care sector, where employment opportunities continue to grow.

This program follows the Futureworx customized, Study and Work delivery model, consisting of 18 weeks of full-time studies followed by 30 weeks of part time studies.

During the part time studies period successful learners will be eligible for hire and earn wages as a “conditional” worker with sponsoring employers, including but not limited to: Inverary Manor, Inverness; Inverness County Home Support; Foyer Pere Fiset Nursing Home, Cheticamp; Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home.

Please note: Conditional hire status requires eligible learners to remain in the program and successfully complete their studies until they have met all provincial CCA graduation requirements, as per the NS CCA Program Curriculum Standards.

Tuition: FREE!

This program is funded by the province of NS.

Participants will receive: Uniforms (3 sets); Textbook(s); USB; and a small training allowance (max $ 150.00 per month, to assist with program related travel cost…) during the full-time portion of the program.
